At this moment, it is not possible to provide a fully self-written text. Our AI creates the text and the accompanying illustrations as a whole. However, you do have a lot of influence on the direction of the story through the choices you make during the creation process.

Yes, you can! Once you have created a book, you can easily create a sequel from the book page. The characters, photos, and illustration style are automatically carried over. You simply choose a new theme and subject, and the AI writes a brand new story that subtly references the previous adventure. This way, you build your own book series step by step!

Yes, absolutely. Your digital eBook is intended precisely as a proof version that you can adjust. Via the "edit book" option, you can change the text and illustrations as you wish.

Do this before you order the hardcover. Once a hardcover order has been placed and sent to the printer, no more adjustments can be made to that specific order.

It can happen that the AI makes unexpected choices. Via "edit book" you have two options: "Edit" adjusts details in the existing image (such as a colour or piece of clothing) while keeping the rest the same. "Regenerate" creates a completely new image. With both options, you can provide context to guide the result.

The AI translates a photo into an artistic style, which is not always an exact copy. If you find the resemblance leaves something to be desired, you can edit the image to adjust details via "edit book", or regenerate the illustration for a completely new result. If the AI makes a mistake with the number of characters, we recommend regenerating the image for that page via "edit book". This creates a completely new illustration and usually solves the problem immediately.

No, the chosen illustration style and the uploaded photos form the basis for the AI and cannot be changed after generating the book. If you want to use a different style or photo, you will have to create a new book.

No, unfortunately, it is not possible to add extra characters afterwards. The composition of the characters is fixed when generating the story. So think carefully beforehand about who you want to include in the adventure.

You cannot manually adjust the text position and size; this is determined automatically. However, you can change the font style. Via the "Edit book" option, you can choose from different fonts to change the look of your book.

You can edit your book (texts, illustrations, and fonts) for up to 10 weeks after the creation date. After this period, the book and the used photos are permanently deleted from your account and adjustments are no longer possible.

No, editing your personalised book is done by yourself via the editing options available in your account. Our platform is designed to give you full control over the adjustments to both the texts and the illustrations, so the final result is exactly as you wish. We do not offer a manual editing service by our team.

It is essential to remember that the AI creates an illustration for a children's book, not a realistic passport photo. The chosen artistic style (such as 'fairytale' or 'cartoon') means that the AI *simplifies* and *stylises* features to fit the book.

The AI does not aim for photorealism. A shadow, the angle of the photo, or a facial expression can therefore be interpreted differently in the childlike style (for example, older or heavier). The magic lies in recognition within a fairytale context.

What you can do: If you find the artistic interpretation deviates too much, you can use the 'edit book' option to regenerate the illustration. The AI will then make a new attempt with the same photo.

Because every hardcover book is unique and printed especially for you, it is not possible to return it or receive a refund. This also applies to any errors that were already visible in the digital eBook. Therefore, check your digital proof version very carefully before ordering.

This happens if adjustments were made after the hardcover order was placed.

As soon as you click on 'Order Hardcover', the version of the book at that precise moment is sent as a final file to the printer. Any adjustments you make in your eBook (your digital proof version) after placing your order are NOT included in the already ordered physical book. Where can you find it?
Your eBook is ready in your account on our website. Log in at the top right with your email address and password. There you can directly view, download, edit, and optionally order the hardcover version of the book.

This is a normal part of professional printing and not a fault or quality issue.

Our illustrations are intentionally designed to extend beyond the page edge. In the printing industry, this is called "full bleed". During the printing and cutting of the pages, a standard trim margin of a few millimetres is applied. This ensures that no unwanted white borders appear along the edges of the pages.

As a result, a small part of the illustration may be trimmed at the top, bottom, or sides. The online version of your book shows slightly more of the illustration, as there is naturally no physical cutting process involved. This difference is the same for every professionally printed book and is inherent to the printing process.

Yes, this can occur and is inherent to the AI process used to create the colouring pages. When converting a colourful illustration into a colouring page, the AI must independently decide which parts become lines and which parts remain white. Sometimes certain areas may unintentionally remain dark or details may be interpreted differently. This is not a product defect but a characteristic of the technology. In practice, children colour over these areas without any issues and fully enjoy their personalised colouring book.

That is unfortunate! Try the following steps:

1. Check your internet connection. The QR code needs an active internet connection to play the story.
2. Use the default camera app on your phone. Some third-party apps do not always recognize QR codes correctly.
3. Try a different browser if the page does not load properly (for example Chrome or Safari).
4. Try a different device to rule out that the issue is with your phone.
